15. LITTLETON3 BOWEN (SR.) (WILLIAM2, WILLIAM1) was born about 1686. LITTLETON died 1767 in Worcester Co., MD.

He married ELIZABETH (wife of Littleton Bowen). ELIZABETH died 1732. Received his portion of his father's estate as legatee in 1735. (Vernon L. Skinner, Maryland Probate Records, Prerogative Court Abstracts, 1731-1737, Libers 11-15)

Will dated October 20, 1766, probate November 20, 1767. He named son Purnell and gave him part of "Sturbridge." He named sons Littleton, Luke and daughters Priscilla, Nanney and Martha, Betty and Rhoda.

child 53 viii. RHODA BOWEN. RHODA died 1784 in Worcester Co., MD. Will dated April 14, 1784, probate October 29, 1784. She named her sister, Elizabeth, and brother Littleton Bowen's daughter, Mathew. Witnesses: Jethro Bowen, Jephthah (Jeptha) Bowen, Elijah Bowen.
