He married Margaret Dennis 5 Feb 1683/4 in Somerset Co, MD.(905) Margaret was born 8 Feb 1667/8 in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD.⁽⁹⁰⁶⁾ Margaret⁽⁹⁰⁷⁾ was the daughter of Donnock Dennis and Ellis Nehulian.

He made a will 5 Apr 1696 in Somerset Co, MD.⁽⁹⁰⁸⁾

Hope Taylor and Margaret Dennis had the following children:

Elizabeth^K Taylor⁽⁹⁰⁹⁾ was born in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD 11 Dec 1684.⁽⁹¹⁰⁾ She married Daniel Long circa 1701 in Somerset Co, MD.(911) Daniel was born 18 Oct 1677 in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD.⁽⁹¹²⁾ Daniel⁽⁹¹³⁾ was the son of Samuel Long and Jane Minshall. Daniel died 1741 at 63 years of age.

149 iv. Margaret Taylor⁽⁹¹⁷⁾ was born in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD 2 Nov 1691.⁽⁹¹⁸⁾ She married William Adams circa 1707 in Somerset Co, MD.(919) William was born 17 Apr 1681 in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD.⁽⁹²⁰⁾ William⁽⁹²¹⁾ was the son of Phillip Adams and Ann Crewe.

150 v. Robert Taylor⁽⁹²²⁾ was born in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD circa 1693.⁽⁹²³⁾
