He married twice. He married Ruby Ethel Guy in Accomack Co., Virginia, December 12, 1900. (Ruby Ethel Guy is #55.) Ruby was born in Melfa, Accomack Co., Virginia January 20, 1880. Ruby was the daughter of John William Guy and Margaret Elizabeth Ayres. Ruby died June 4, 1943 in Wachapreague, Accomack Co., Virginia, at 63 years of age. Her body was interred June 6, 1943 in Mt. Holly Cem., Onancock, Accomack Co., Virginia. He married Catherine Crosley in Accomack Co., Virginia, 1945. (Catherine Crosley is #668.) Catherine was born in Eastern Shore, Virginia.

George Thomas Core and Ruby Ethel Guy had the following children:

217 iii. Sidney Marvin Core (#58) was born in Wachapreague, Virginia July 8, 1922. Sidney died October 20, 1982 in Northampton Co., Virginia, at 60 years of age. His body was interred in Mt. Holly Cem., Onancock, Virginia. He married Lillian Spady. (Lillian Spady is #271.) Lillian was born in Eastern Shore, Virginia 1914. Lillian died January 31, 1995 in Machipongo, Northampton Co., Virginia, at 80 years of age. Her body was interred February 3, 1995 in Johnson's Cem., Johnsontown, Northampton Co., Virginia.
