Sit in on your ancestors day in Court or get the feeling for the quality of the life and the times.
Somerset County Maryland Judicial Records 1709-1711 is a transcription of the proceedings of the Somerset County MD court for the years 1709-1711 and is part of a larger book that covers August 1707 to June 1711 and consists of 481 hand written pages. Due to the amount of pages and printing involved I thought it best to break up the contents into years with PART I done first. The original page numbers are in brackets and are at the top of the text where they can be found in the original book making it easier to check on specific entries. This book covers from pages 235 to 481. The records are indexed with more than 1500 names and places. These proceedings contain mention of individuals not found in any other records. Find apprenticeships, depositions, petitions, bastardy cases, wills and other informative data.
This work makes the vital information in these court records much more accessible for everyone.
