08/05/1782: Major Davis appointed Guardian.
07/27/1784: Zorobabel, orphan of Edmund, made choice of John Laws for his
Guardian. Again for 1785 and 1786.
01/07/1789: Zorobabel and cousin John (son of Posthumos) selected to vote for
Henry Guy as Elector for George Washington as President of the
United States.
03/11/1790: Zorobabel Core (Brother) appointed to handle the Estate of
Charles Core, deceased.
1791: Both again selected to vote for Henry Guy as Elector for George
Washington as President of the United States.
1797: John Core, cousin and Zorobabel Henderson, brother-in-law appointed
executors of Zorobabel Core's estate.
11. Edmund CORE
04/25/1769: Edmund Core appointed Constable in place of Joseph Stockley,
deceased.
1779: Will probated, Accomack Co. Will Book: 1777-1780, Pg. 431. 02/26/1788: Audit of the Estate of Edmund Core, Accomack County.
21. Levi CORE
08/31/1784: The last will and testament of Levi Core, deceased, was proved by
the oath of William Cowley and Joseph Stockley, witness' thereto and
ordered to be recoprded and on the motion of Alexander Stockley
Stockley taking oath and giving George Corbin for his security, who
entered into and acknowledged a bond for that purpose. Certificate
is granted him for obtaining a Probate thereto in due form.
