195. JOSIAH MITCHELL⁷ MARSHALL (JOHN PURNELL⁶, JOHN⁵, ISAAC⁴, JOHN³, THOMAS², JOHN¹) (#128) was born in Worcester Parish December 21, 1808. (F. Edward Wright, Eastern Shore Vital Records) JOSIAH died August 7, 1882 in Worchester Co MD, at 73 years of age. Record in John Marshall Bible.

He married ELIZABETH ANN ENNIS in Worchester Co MD, November 12, 1832. Family Bible of John Marshall. (ELIZABETH ANN ENNIS is #129.)

ELIZABETH was born June 10, 1815. Ennis family records copied by Elizabeth W. Keas. ELIZABETH was the daughter of STEPHEN ENNIS and MARTHA (?WAILES) (wife of Stephen Ennis).

ELIZABETH died April 15, 1897 in Worcester Co., MD, at 81 years of age. Recorded in John Marshall family Bible. Josiah received "Bell Vale" and "Small Acre" adjacent to the wife of Dr. John S. Spence and Elizabeth Purnell, and "Rich Medow," from his father's will in 1797. (Ruth T. Dryden, Worcester Will Book MH f.364-368)
