272. RICHARD JOHNSON⁷ AYRES (KASIAH "CESSY"⁶ JOHNSON, RACHEL⁵ BUNTING, TAMAR⁴ MARSHALL, GEORGE³, THOMAS², JOHN¹) (#531) was born February, 1801. RICHARD died March, 1872 in Accomack Co. VA, at 71 years of age.

He married LEAH WAINHOUSE JOHNSON 1827. (LEAH WAINHOUSE JOHNSON is #538.) LEAH was born May 1, 1799. LEAH was the daughter of JOHN JOHNSON. Her body was interred February, 1882 in Accomack Co. VA, St. Georges. (Bill Wilkins; Graven Stone)

RICHARD JOHNSON AYRES and LEAH WAINHOUSE JOHNSON had the following children:

+ 504 i. JAMES KELLAM⁸ AYRES was born October 19, 1833.

+ 505 ii. RICHARD JOHNSON AYRES was born about 1835.
