He married ROSE "ROSA" MARY NOTTINGHAM in Northampton Co VA, April 6, 1885. (ROSE "ROSA" MARY NOTTINGHAM is #1745.) ROSE was born in Northampton Co VA February 24, 1862. ROSE was the daughter of JACOB T. NOTTINGHAM and SUSAN ANN WILKINS. ROSE died January 10, 1929 in Franktown, Northampton Co VA, at 66 years of age.

EDWARD VIRGIL GUNTER and ROSE "ROSA" MARY NOTTINGHAM had the following children:
