267. CATHERINE "KITTY" F.⁷ JOHNSON (RICHARD⁶, RACHEL⁵ BUNTING, TAMAR⁴ MARSHALL, GEORGE³, THOMAS², JOHN¹) (#594) was born about 1820. CATHERINE died March 31, 1875 in Accomack Co VA, at 54 years of age.

She married MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY. (MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY is #603.) MAJOR was born February 8, 1806. MAJOR was the son of THOMAS JEPTHA DOWTY and MARGARET COLONY. MAJOR died May 11, 1861 in Accomack Co. VA, at 55 years of age. (Bill Wilkins, Tony Ashdon, Graven Stone)

CATHERINE "KITTY" F. JOHNSON and MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY had the following children:

+ 491 i. MARY (E OR F)⁸ DOWTY-DOUGHETY was born September 28, 1847.

492 ii. RICHARD T. DOWTY (#608) was born May 14, 1850. RICHARD died January 22, 1913 at 62 years of age. (ref: Graven Stone) His body was interred in Accomack Co VA, Onancock. He married HATTIE S. (HATTIE S. is #1658.)

HATTIE was born 1860. HATTIE died March 6, 1907 at 46 years of age. Her body was interred in Accomack Co VA, Onancock.

493 iii. THOMAS DOWTY (#607) was born 1850.

494 iv. JOHN L. DOWTY (#609) was born 1853.

495 v. JOHN L. DOWTY-DOUGHETY (#1659) was born in Accomack Co VA 1853.

+ 496 vi. MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY was born October 13, 1854.

497 vii. PEGGY S. DOWTY-DOUGHETY (#611) was born 1858.
