He married twice. He married MARGARET T. JOYNES. (MARGARET T. JOYNES is #1946.) MARGARET was born October 11, 1819. MARGARET was the daughter of ELIAS DUNTON JOYNES and MARGARET SMITH. MARGARET died August 8, 1898 at 78 years of age. He married EMELINE P. FITCHETT in Accomack Co VA, October 10, 1832. (EMELINE P. FITCHETT is #1943.) EMELINE was born October 21, 1815. 1185 vi. WILLIAM M. DUNTON (#1958) was born 1849.

1186 vii. EMMA DUNTON (#1959) was born September, 1851.

1187 viii. NEBRASKA D. DUNTON (#1960) was born March 8, 1854. NEBRASKA died May 20, 1858 at 4 years of age.

1188 ix. DAUGHTER DUNTON (#1961) was born March 21, 1857. DAUGHTER died March 21, 1857 at less than one year of age.
