ANNIE died November 14, 1950 at 101 years of age. Her body was interred in Northampton Co VA, Belle Haven.

She married GEORGE W. DOWTY-DOUGHTY in Northampton Co VA, March, 1874. (GEORGE W. DOWTY-DOUGHTY is #2723.) GEORGE was born in Northampton Co VA December 7, 1850. GEORGE was the son of WILLIAM J. DOWTY-DOUGHTY and HARRIET B. COTTRELL. GEORGE died May 10, 1926 at 75 years of age.

ANNIE J. CARPENTER and GEORGE W. DOWTY-DOUGHTY had the following children:

1622 i. GEORGE L.¹¹ DOWTY-DOUGHTY (#2726) was born December 28, 1875. GEORGE died July 5, 1894 at 18 years of age.

1623 ii. LIZZIE B. DOUGHTY (#2727) was born in Northampton Co VA 1879. She married JAMES L. PHILLIPS in Northampton Co VA, January 24, 1895. (JAMES L. PHILLIPS is #2728.) JAMES was born in Accomack Co VA 1867. JAMES was the son of ISAAC PHILLIPS and ALCY.
