He married SUSAN "SUDIE" WILKINS AMES in Northampton Co VA, December 11, 1904. (SUSAN "SUDIE" WILKINS AMES is #3237.) SUSAN was born July 16, 1877. SUSAN was the daughter of WILLIAM HENRY AMES and SUSAN WILKINS DOWTY. SUSAN died 1968 at 90 years of age. (ref: Tony Ashdon)
