He married JOSEPHINE "JODIE" DOWTY-DOUGHTY. (JOSEPHINE "JODIE" DOWTY-DOUGHTY is #2108.) JOSEPHINE was born July 8, 1877. JOSEPHINE was the daughter of THOMAS MAJOR DOWTY-DOUGHTY and MARY ANNA DUNTON. JOSEPHINE died 1966 at 88 years of age. Her body was interred in Franktown, Northampton Co VA. (Tony Ashdon, Bill Wilkins)

1691 vi. HARRY L. DOWTY-DOUGHTY (#2814) was born 1880. He married LAURA M. DEVARE in Northampton Co VA, December 30, 1920. (LAURA M. DEVARE is #2815.) LAURA was born in Northampton Co VA 1898. LAURA was the daughter of WILLIAM DEVARE and JUANITA. (ref: Bill Wilkins, Tony Ashdon)

1692 vii. MYRTLE ELLEN DOWTY-DOUGHTY (#2825) was born about 1897. MYRTLE died October 1, 1977 at 80 years of age. She married LUTHER J. ABRAMS in Northampton Co VA, October 10, 1917. (LUTHER J. ABRAMS is #2826.) LUTHER was born in Northampton Co VA 1892. LUTHER was the son of JOHN W. ABRAMS and MARY E.. LUTHER died 1930 at 38 years of age.
