126. ELIZABETH⁵ CUSTIS (MARGARET⁴ MICHAEL, ELIZABETH³ THOROWGOOD, ADAM², WILLIAM¹) was born 1681. ELIZABETH died 1715 at 34 years of age.

She married THOMAS CUSTIS before December 3, 1708. THOMAS was born in Deep Creek, Accomack Co. VA 1684. THOMAS was the son of EDMUND CUSTIS (Col.) and TABITHA SCARBURGH WHITTINGTON. THOMAS died 1721 in Accomack Co. VA, at 37 years of age. He made a will Accomack Co., VA, October 3, 1719. Probate April 4, 1721. (Stratton Nottingham, Wills & Administrations of Accomack Co., VA, p. 67) Thomas was the beneficiary of his great grandmother Madam Tabitha Hill (Scarburgh) of 700 acres near White Marsh. (Nottingham p.57)

ELIZABETH CUSTIS and THOMAS CUSTIS had the following children:

+ 295 ii. TABITHA CUSTIS was born about 1700.

296 iii. SARAH CUSTIS was born in Accomack Co. VA about 1700. SARAH died about 1770 in Accomack Co. VA.

+ 297 iv. JOHN CUSTIS (Col.) was born 1704.

+ 298 v. EDMUND CUSTIS (II) was born about 1706.

299 vi. THOMAS WHITTINGTON CUSTIS was born about 1708. THOMAS died before 1748.
