316. JOHN⁶ WOODARD (MARY⁵ MARTIN, JOEL⁴, ANN³ KEELING, ANN² , WILLIAM¹ THOROWGOOD) was born about 1679. JOHN died after November 21, 1734 in Bath Co., NC, at approximately 55 years of age.

He married twice. He married MARY WOODARD. MARY was the daughter of JOHN WOODARD and MARY. MARY died after November 21, 1734 at approximately 53 years of age. He married MARY WOODARD. MARY was the daughter of JOHN WOODARD and MARY. MARY died after November 21, 1734 at approximately 53 years of age.

He made a will in St. Thomas, Bath Co., NC, November 21, 1734. In his will, John named his father and brother, Joel, as still living. Old Bath County became Edgecomb and Wake Counties in 1696. Need to locate St. Thomas, Bath and find proximity to St. Mary's, Edgecomb.

JOHN WOODARD and MARY WOODARD had the following children:

+ 548 i. JOHN⁷ WOODARD was born about 1695.

549 ii. HENRY WOODARD was born about 1697. Received land adjacent to the school.

550 iii. MARY WOODARD was born about 1698. Received the plantation on the Pamplico River.
