satisfactory evidence that John Parkes, who filled a declaration for a pension in the County of Accomack in the year 1832 for his services
in the Revolutionary War, died on 22 Mar 1841, leaving his son John Parkes his executor, and also leaving a widow whose name was Ann Parkes,
who also died on the 20 Mar 184_, leaving John Parkes, Tabitha Taylor and Nancy Killman her only children and heirs at law (Acc Orders
1848-1851, p. 423, 25 Nov 1850). He was in the Continental Army 9th Virginia Regiment and Acc Co Militia. His will was written 6 Jun 1829
