1. William¹ Dunning was born in Dagsboro, DE.

He married Martha Tunnell June 24, 1809. Martha was born in Georgetown, DE September 22, 1792. Martha was the daughter of Isaac Tunnell and Hannah Albertson. Martha died December 28, 1869 in Georgetown, DE, at 77 years of age.

William Dunning and Martha Tunnell had the following children:

2 i. Juliann² Dunning was born 13 Aug 1818. Juliann died January 14, 1844. She married John Robinson.

3 ii. William Tunnell Dunning was born 14 Apr 1821. William died July 26, 1845.

4 iii. Jane Tunnell Dunning was born 31 Aug 1831. Jane died December 2, 1914. She married Joseph Thomas Adams December 14, 1854. (See Joseph Thomas Adams for the continuation of this line.)

+ 5 iv. Henry Dunning was born March 21, 1810.

6 v. Edward Dunning was born October 22, 1813. Edward died July 11, 1851 at 37 years of age. He married Charlotte Stone January 30, 1840.

7 vi. Emaline Dunning was born May 9, 1816. Emaline died October 12, 1817 at 1 year of age.

+ 8 vii. James Clayton Dunning was born February 6, 1824.

9 viii. Hannah Albertson Dunning was born January 24, 1826. Hannah died March 31, 1847 at 21 years of age. She married Joseph Cannon.

10 ix. Isaac Tunnell Dunning was born July 17, 1828. Isaac died December 14, 1866 at 38 years of age. He married Kate W. Hitchens.

11 x. Mary Elizabeth Dunning was born October 25, 1833. Mary died October 27, 1883 at 50 years of age. She married William P. Wolfe. (See William P. Wolfe for the continuation of this line.)

12 xi. Martha Dunning was born December 28, 1837. Martha died September 24, 1845 at 7 years of age.

13 xii. Charles Dunning was born May 8, 1840. Charles died 26 Aug 1840.
