She married SMITH SNEAD in Northampton Co., VA, February 12, 1783. (SMITH SNEAD is #250.) SMITH was the son of CHARLES SNEAD (Capt.) and CATHERINE WEST. SMITH died after December 11, 1792 in Northampton Co VA. Major Smith Snead was wounded at the Battle of the Barges at Kedge's Straits on November 30, 1782. (ref: Whitelaw) It is not known when Rose Christian died or when Margaret Kerr married Smith. Son, Edward is probably the unborn child mentioned in Smith's will. (James Marshall, Wills & Administrations of Northampton Co., VA, p. 515)
