156. Edith 'Matilda'²² Canmore (Malcolm III MacDuncan²⁰, Duncan I²¹ , Crinan²²)⁽⁸²¹⁾ was born in Scotland, circa 1079.⁽⁸²²⁾ Matilda died 1 May 1118 at 38 years of age.⁽⁸²³⁾

She married Henry I Beauclerc, King of England 11 Nov 1100.⁽⁸²⁴⁾ Henry Beauclerc was born 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.⁽⁸²⁵⁾ Henry Beauclerc⁽⁸²⁶⁾ was the son of William I The Conqueror King of England and Matilda of Flanders. Henry Beauclerc died 1 Dec 1135 in Rouen, France, at 67 years of age.⁽⁸²⁷⁾ His body was interred in Reading Abbey.⁽⁸²⁸⁾ (See Henry I Beauclerc, King of England for the children resulting from this marriage.)
