He married Ermengarde de Anjou circa 985.⁽¹⁰⁰⁴⁾ Ermengarde was born circa 970. Ermengarde⁽¹⁰⁰⁵⁾ was the daughter of Geoffrey I Grisgonelle Count of Anjou and Adelaide de Vermandois.

Conan I Duke of Brittany and Ermengarde de Anjou had the following child:
