50. LAVINIA⁴ PURNELL (JOHN³, THOMAS², THOMAS¹) was born in Worcester Co., MD 1727. LAVINIA died after May 20, 1789 in Worcester Co., MD, at approximately 61 years of age.

She married twice. She married LAMBERT FASSITT. LAMBERT was born about 1726. LAMBERT was the son of WILLIAM FASSITT (Col.) and MARY ROUSE. LAMBERT died 1755 in Worcester Co., MD, at 29 years of age. He made a will in Worcester Co., MD, December 30, 1754. (transcribed by Suzanne B. Hurley, Ocean City Lifesaving Museum)

LAMBERT's will was probated in Worcester Co., MD, January 31, 1755. Lambert was probably married first before his marriage to Lavinia and this first wife was mother to his older daughters.

She married THOMAS PRIDEAUX after 1755. THOMAS died 1789 in Worcester Co., MD. He made a will in Worcester Co., MD, May 20, 1789. (Ruth T. Dryden, Worcester Will Book JWB f.91-93) Her name was also spelled Levinar and Leveniah. Her father left her "Spittle Fields" and "Truitt's Lott." Her children, Joshua Prideaux and Zipporah Fassitt are shown as heirs of Col. Zadock Purnell.

LAVINIA PURNELL and LAMBERT FASSITT had the following child:

178 i. ZIPPORAH⁵ FASSITT. ZIPPORAH died before 1760. Administration accounts for her father show payment to her representatives.

LAVINIA PURNELL and THOMAS PRIDEAUX had the following child:
