292. PURNELL5 OUTTEN (JR.) (PURNELL4, SARAH3 PURNELL, JOHN2, THOMAS1) was born in Somerset Co., MD January 2, 1761. (Somerset Sampler, p. 201) PURNELL died 1798 in Accomack Co., VA, at 37 years of age.

He married ELIZABETH TAYLOR in Accomack Co., VA, July 16, 1785. (Accomack Marriage Records, Will of Charles Taylor, Nottingham p. 338-Ginni Sievers) ELIZABETH was the daughter of CHARLES TAYLOR.

He made a will in Accomack Co., VA, September 18, 1796. (Stratton Nottingham, Wills & Administrations of Accomack Co., VA, p. 453)

PURNELL's will was probated in Accomack Co., VA, June 25, 1798. Named in his father's will and was bequeathed "Ware Point" in Somerset County. He named his four children in his will. His brother, Joseph, was to settle his business in Somerset County, and George Ker to settle his estate in Accomack County.

PURNELL OUTTEN (Jr.) and ELIZABETH TAYLOR had the following children:

child 561 v. PURNELL T. OUTTEN. He was not named in his father's will but shown as orphan of Purnell Outten, deceased, with guardian Elizabeth Outten. (Accomack Orphans Accounts 1781-1801, p. 653-Ginni Sievers) With his sister, Mary P. Savage, he sold land of his father's in Somerset County. (Somerset Co. Deeds JD5, pgs 297-298; Ginni Sievers)
