6. Margaret³ TILNEY (John², John¹) (#14) was born 1658.

She married John MOORE. (John MOORE is #15.) John was born 1659. John was the son of John MOORE. Upon John's death, his estate was administered in Northampton Co. VA, January 12, 1724. In 1699 John Tilney gave 100 acres of land at N81 to his daughter, Margaret, and her husband, John Moore. In 1701, John Tilney left 200 more acres of N81 to Margaret and John Moore. Most of the second 200 acres was east of the bayside road. The 100 acres given in 1699 was in the southeast corner of the tract, east of the land given in 1701. These lands descended to Margaret and John's son, Jonathan, who began selling parcels in 1726. (ref: Whitelaw)
