21. Elizabeth4 JACOB (Sarah3 TILNEY, John2, John1) (#44) was born about 1675.
She married twice. She married William WATERSON. (William WATERSON is #43.) William was the
son of John WATERSON and Frances WILKINS. William died 1722 in Northampton Co. VA. The 250 acres of N87 given to
Sarah Tilney and her husband, Isaac Jacob, then to their daughter, Elizabeth, by John Tilney, was in the possession of William Waterson in
1722. William left the 250 acres to his son, Jacob. Whitelaw stated that there was no deed to William Waterson for the land and that he may
have married Elizabeth Jacob, which is also suggested by William's son's given name. (ref: Whitelaw)
She married Mark FRESHWATER after 1722. (Mark FRESHWATER is #204.) Mark was the son of George
FRESHWATER and Elizabeth MEARS. Mark died before February 9, 1762 in Northampton Co. VA. (ref: Marshall) About Mark's
2nd wife Elishe: She m. 1st before 1729 Andrew Smaw, son of Andrew & Ann Smaw, he died in 1735 NH Co. She m. 2nd after 1735 John Nelson, son
of John & Susannah Nelson, he died by April 10, 1753. She m. 3rd after 1753 Mark Freshwater, son of George Freshwater and Elizabeth Mears.
Mark died before February 9, 1762 NH Co. Elishe named her children in her will dated February 15, 1769: John Smaw, Andrew Smaw, Henry Smaw,
Southy Nelson, John Nelson, Elizabeth Nelson and Mary Freshwater (Mary Nelson married Jacob Freshwater). (ref: Marshall, Whitelaw, Bill
