He married Sallie Dennis RUE in Crowsontown, Va, 9 Feb 1876.⁽³⁾ (Sallie Dennis RUE is #227.) Sallie was born in Crowsontown, Va 31 Oct 1855. Sallie was the daughter of George S REW and Margaret S Ayers. Sallie died 14 Apr 1930 in Justisville, Va, at 74 years of age.

Levin Thomas Crowson III and Sallie Dennis RUE had the following children:

+ 7 i. James Henry⁷ Crowson was born 17 Jan 1882.

8 ii. Levin Thomas Crowson IV (#210) was born in Justisville, Va, 8 Nov 1895. Levin died 15 May 1974 in Parksley, Accomack Co., Va., at 78 years of age. His body was interred in Parksley, Accomack Co., Va.
