The Central Accounting Department
Our Core Functions
The role of Central Accounting is to support the Board of Supervisors, the County Administrator, and County Departments with accurate and timely information and analysis.
The Financial Division of the department processes all payrolls and vendor payments, maintains the county's general ledger, prepares the county's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and compiles the Annual Budget Document.
The Information Technology Division of the department designs and configures systems and networks, maintains infrastructure and hardware, and consults with departments on technology solutions.
