Since 1970, the
Accomack-Northampton Planning District Commission has provided planning
assistance to member local governments on a variety of projects of regional
significance. These regional projects
include planning to eliminate substandard housing, improve the eastern Shore’s
economy, protect ground water resources, and make U.S. Route 13 safer. Regional project reports will be added to
