PLENTY OF PANSIES (in packs of 6, 36 to a flat)

Some Pansy Tips
  • Pansies perform best when they've been planted in Fall.
  • Plant Pansies in the Fall for best results and for color into the Spring - Planted under deciduous trees, the winter sun will warm them and the leaves will shade them into early Summer's heat. When pansies start to stretch, replace with annuals.
  • Perk up February Pansies with water soluble fertilizer for a quicker picker upper.
  • Plant drifts of colored pansies and merge and blend colors to each other.
  • Pansies are edible; try garnishing your plates and table with splashes of color.
  • Plan ahead -- If you use crimson or red Christmas decorations by your porch, plant red or crimson pansies now in front of gold mums -- the flowers will decorate for you!
  • Replant your summer pots with pansies for fresh color to take you through Fall, Winter, and Spring.
  • Press your favorite pansy blooms for making stationery for gifts or for yourself.
  • Use pansy flowers in potpourri. Dry the blooms on a screen in a dark, dry room (like a furnace room), and mix with essential oils.
  • Viola are small perennial versions of pansies: They'll provide surprising pleasure for years, with little attention from you.
  • Pansy signifies fond memories, which is what we here at Maplewood wish for you!
