Salvias or sages come in many varieties - ornamental and cooking, annual, perennial, and more.
What they all have in common is their square hollow stem.
They come in shades of blue, pink, purple, red, orange, and yellow and range in size from 1' to 5'.
Although they prefer full sun, they are also happy in filtered shade.
These tough stars of the garden definitely have a lot of bang for the buck!
