Driving Directions
There are two gateways to The Eastern Shore of Virginia:
- The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel from Virginia Beach
- Highway 13 from the Maryland State Line, accessible via Route 50 from Washington, DC and Annapolis, MD or via Route 13 from points North.
Those crossing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel will be on Route 13 when they exit and should continue North on Route 13 (Lankford Highway) to Onley, approximately 45 miles from the bridge. Comfort Inn billboards with mileage are along the highway.
Drivers coming from Washington, DC/Maryland will cross the upper Bay Bridge and follow Route 50 East to Salisbury, MD, where they will intersect with Route 13 South. Onley is approximately 25 miles south of the Maryland - Virginia line. Comfort Inn billboards with mileage are along Route 13.
The Comfort Inn Onley is located on the northbound lane of Route 13, between The Sunrise Restaurant and McDonalds, across from Four Corners Plaza shopping center.
Drivers from the South will be able to make a direct right turn into the driveway. Those coming from the North will need to pass the Comfort Inn Onley on the divided highway and make a u-turn to access the northbound lane.
