Fruit Horticulture Resource Links

References from Recent “Fruit Horticulture on ESVA” Lectures (2015)

Several lectures were recently delivered entitled, “Fruit Horticulture on the Eastern Shore of Virginia”.  Most recently on 3/4/15, a presentation was given to the 2015 Master Gardener Class.  The lecture will be followed by a field trip to our farm for pruning demonstrations.  A shorten form of the presentation was also given in early February as part of the Science and Philosophy Seminar series at the Eastern Shore Community College.  These lectures are based on our learning experience over 16 years of operating the Mason Beach Fruit Farm, and information obtained through agricultural extension service resources at the following universities -- Virginia Tech, Pennsylvania State University, North Carolina State University, University of Kentucky and West Virginia University.

The following literature references were used in developing the presentation.  The references are linked to the original article.  Click on the reference and it should open in pdf file format.
