Enjoy the charm of an 1850's country house, the fragrance of a southern garden, and the pleasures of a working horse farm, in one of the oldest villages in Virginia.

Breakfast included beside the hearth, or in summer, on the screened porch or terrace..

Stroll through two acres of lawns and gardens,
graced by stately ash, maple, and pecan trees.
Feel free to explore the walks and borders, pick a bouquet,
or just relax on the nearest bench. Guests also have access to a nearby beach on the Chesapeake Bay.
A short walk takes you through 300 years of Virginia history.
Visit the colonial area courthouse square, where you can browse through the oldest continuous court records in America, dating from 1632.
 

Personal cheques, traveler's cheques, and money orders are accepted. Room rates are subject to Virginia tax. Telephone reservations are welcomed. No smoking. Room rate is $75 per night plus $10 per night for pets, plus 6.5% VA tax.

Directions: From US Route 13, take Willow Oak Road west at the traffic light (Shore Stop). Windrush Farm is the fifth house on the left, with the big red barn and horse fencing.
