Marina
The use of the boat ramp is free for all Wachapreague taxpayers displaying a
town plate or decal on the towing vehicle. SLIPS are available for boats up
to 44' LOA under annual lease; transient slips and monthly rentals are also
available.

availability, services and rates.
Volunteer Fire Company
Separately incorporated from the Town, the Volunteer Fire Company provides
EMS, Ambulance, Fire and other emergency services.

Town Park
The park is located at the South West corner of the Town of Wachapreague. It
offers two tennis courts, a baseball field, picnic facilities, and playground
equipment.
Seaside Park
The
park is located on Main Street and Atlantic Avenue. Procured through a grant
from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, it has preserved
the site of the old Wachapreague Hotel. With Eastern Shore Native Plants,
exquisite gardens, and a gazebo at its center, it is a lovely location for
public events and celebrations as well as private gatherings.
Garbage and Brush Pick-Up
Garbage is taken every Wednesday.
Brush and debris is picked-up on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
The weight limit is 50 lbs. per container. Brush and debris should be cut
into 4-foot or shorter lengths. Approximately one pick-up truck load should
be put out at curb side at any one time.
