838. James Marion⁹ Morson (Anne Casson⁸ Alexander, William⁷, John⁶, Anne⁵ Fowke, Gerard⁴, Ann³ Thorowgood, Adam², William¹) was born 1817. James died December 30, 1868 at 51 years of age.

He married Ellen Carter Bruce September 13, 1843. Ellen was born August 15, 1820. Ellen died February, 1862 at 41 years of age.

James Marion Morson and Ellen Carter Bruce had the following children:

1194 i. Ellen Bruce¹⁰ Morson was born November 10, 1845. She married Octave Jacob December 21, 1869.

1195 ii. James Bruce Morson was born August 12, 1847. He married Claudia Burwell Marshall July 20, 1873.

1196 iii. Marian Morson was born April 13, 1849. Marian died 1888 at 39 years of age. She married Henry Wise Garnett November 4, 1874.

1197 iv. Charles Bruce Morson was born November 19, 1850. He died in his early youth.

1198 v. Alice Morson was born November 20, 1852. She married Leigh Robinson.

1199 vi. Thomas Seddon Morson was born November 26, 1854. Died as a young adult.

1200 vii. Frank Morson was born March 3, 1857. Died as an infant.

1201 viii. Anne Morson was born February 17, 1859. She married Wyndham R. Meredith.
