She married MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY. (MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY is #603.) MAJOR was born February 8, 1806. MAJOR was the son of THOMAS JEPTHA DOWTY and MARGARET COLONY. MAJOR died May 11, 1861 in Accomack Co. VA, at 55 years of age. (Bill Wilkins, Tony Ashdon, Graven Stone)

176 i. MARY (E OR F)⁶ DOWTY-DOUGHETY (#606) was born in Accomack Co VA September 28, 1847. MARY died July 27, 1934 at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Northampton Co VA, Belle Haven. She married SOLOMON S. BIRD in Accomack Co VA, November 30, 1867. (SOLOMON S. BIRD is #1759.) SOLOMON was born in Accomack Co VA 1838. SOLOMON was the son of EBUM BIRD and MARIA A. WYATT. SOLOMON died 1906 at 68 years of age. Solomon served in the CSA, Company F, 46th Regiment, Virginia Infantry. (Bill Wilkins, Tony Ashdon)

177 ii. RICHARD T. DOWTY (#608) was born May 14, 1850. RICHARD died January 22, 1913 at 62 years of age. (ref: Graven Stone) His body was interred in Accomack Co VA, Onancock. He married HATTIE S. (HATTIE S. is #1658.)

HATTIE was born 1860. HATTIE died March 6, 1907 at 46 years of age. Her body was interred in Accomack Co VA, Onancock.

181 vi. MAJOR ROBERTSON DOWTY (#610) was born October 13, 1854. MAJOR died November 11, 1937 in Pungoteague, Accomack Co VA, at 83 years of age. His body was interred in Accomack Co VA, Onancock. He married three times. He married BETTIE V. MAPP December 1, 1880. (BETTIE V. MAPP is #1764.) BETTIE was born September 25, 1862. BETTIE was the daughter of JAMES C. MAPP and SAPHRONIA MEARS. BETTIE died January 8, 1882 at 19 years of age. He married MARY "MAMIE" C. MAPP in Accomack Co VA, March 29, 1883. (MARY "MAMIE" C. MAPP is #1767.) MARY was born April 20, 1864. MARY was the daughter of JAMES C. MAPP and SAPHRONIA MEARS. MARY died November 22, 1891 at 27 years of age. He married SALLIE A. READ October 3, 1893. (SALLIE A. READ is #1768.)
