Asphalt repair and installation

Asphalt is a petroleum-based product. It is a rich black color and very flexible when first laid. As time passes, the petrolem-based components dry out in the sun and the asphalt becomes brittle and turns gray. At that point it is vulnerable to cracking which can lead to holes and further deterioration. This is the time to repair and reseal your surface to extend its life and protect it against rain, ice and root intrusions, as well as increasing its resistance to oil, gasoline and salt. Shore offers several refinishing options that provide differing degrees of protection, depending on your property's level of wear and your budget.

Asphalt Installation Shore can install a new asphalt driveway, overlay your existing pavment or remove and replace if needed. We inspect the base aggregate and prepare a drainage plan for each residential or commercial job.

Asphalt Rejuvinator CPR system from Hydro-Labs is high-level performer that penetrates and restores asphalt to a near-new condition. Rejuvinator seal the pavment with a uniform, black, even-wearing finish that is not water-soluble and therefore will not flush from the surface. Its reduced viscosity increases pavemnt flexiblity. If applied periodically (every 3 to 5 years), it will extend pavment life indefinitely.

Driveways

Your driveway is a major factor in determining a vistor's "first impression". Your choice of surfacing material should reflect your priorities with regard to cost, permanance and ease of upkeep as well as aesthetics. Shore offers several options in driveway materials.

Gravel is relatively inexpensive and easy to install so it's a great choice for many homeowners. With proper installation and maintenance it can last a lifetime. On the down side, it creates dust, and can make for difficult weeding, and needs to have its top layer refreshed every 1 to 5 years.

Asphalt holds up well against big temperature changes, retains head which helps melt snow. Recapping (adding a fresh layer over the original foundation) is relatively quick. Asphalt needs resealing every 2 to 4 years.

Stone/Pavers These can be natural stones, concrete pavers or bricks. Natural stones are elegant but expensive and difficult to maintain. You'll also need to insure proper drainage in areas with heavy freeze/thaw cycles.

CONCRETE SERVICES

Concrete is an excellent construction material because it has a high compression strength and is not subject to corrosion or weathering. It is also easily molded into any shape, is economical and it gains strengh with age.

Shore skilled professionals offer commercial and residential concrete services including: conrete retaining walls, patios, driveways and sidewalks. Concrete comes in a variety of textures and colors to create unique surfaces that enhance curb appeal. Colored concrete mixed in or dusted over the surface once laid. Exposed aggregate finish. Colorful pebbles are planted in regular concrete at the fishing point, then, after the top layer is washed, the pebbles become exposed. Broom finish gives a textured effect and is slip resistant.
