149. GRAY7 ANDREWS (WILLIAM6, WILLIAM5, WILLIAM4, WILLIAM3, WILLIAM2, JOHN1) (#13514) was born Northampton Co., NC 1744. GRAY died about 1811 Hancock, GA.

He married MILLIE WARREN. (MILLIE WARREN is #13933.) When very young, Milly was partially scalped by Indians, but escaped. Her sister was partially scalped and left for dead, but lived to tell the tale many times. (This sister married Lloyd Kelly and they cme to live on the adjoining plantation of Emily and John in Hancock Co.) Gray was a soldier during the Revolution. (Patriots and Descendants, Vol. 1; Hofman, Northampton Co. NC Wills 1759-1808, p. 31)
