He married SARAH SATCHELL in Northampton Co., VA, January 22, 1768. (SARAH SATCHELL is #14053.) SARAH died after 1823. Sarah married John Adams after John Kendall's death. She was still living in 1823, when her daughter and her husband deeded her a half acre lot. (Ralph Whitelaw, Virginia's Eastern Shore, p. 266)

384 i. MARGARET C.⁸ KENDALL (#14054) was born in Northampton Co., VA February 11, 1776. She married twice. She married MAJOR S. PITTS (Gen.). (MAJOR S. PITTS (Gen.) is #14055.) MAJOR was born March 30, 1776. MAJOR died September 5, 1827 in Northampton Co., VA, at 51 years of age. She married EDWARD R. TATEM in Northampton Co., VA, before 1848. (EDWARD R. TATEM is #14056.) Date of death: Linda Harris shows her date of death as 5 Jan 1827; Whitelaw shows that a commissioner sold N70 to Margaret C. Pitts, who married Edward R. Tatem in 1848.
