91. Martha⁵ Sturgis (Martha⁴ Purnell, Martha³ Bowen, William², William¹) birth date unknown.

She married Benjamin Aydelotte before 1796. Benjamin died 1826 in Worcester Co., MD. He made a will in Worcester Co., MD, March 1, 1826. (Ruth T. Dryden, Worcester Co., MD Wills MH f.207, p.17)

Benjamin's will was probated in Worcester Co., MD, March 10, 1826. He named his wife, Martha, and children by his will. He named grandchildren: Peter Thomas Aydelotte, Susan Aydelotte and Esther Aydelotte, but not who their parents were. Called granddaughter by Martha Selby in 1780. Her father names her Martha Aydelotte in 1795. She joined with her sisters and their husbands to sell property left them by their father.

Martha Sturgis and Benjamin Aydelotte had the following children:

158 i. Benjamin P.⁶ Aydelotte.

159 ii. Peter Aydelotte.

160 iii. Thomas Aydelotte.

161 iv. John Aydelotte.

162 v. Esther Aydelotte. She married Unknown Mills(husband of Esther Aydelotte).

163 vi. Martha Aydelotte. She married John Payne. She was called Martha Payne by her father's will and a John Payne was witness to the will.
