61. Joseph⁴ Bishop (Sr.) (John³, Mary² Bowen, William¹) was born about 1710. Joseph died 1774 in Worcester Co., MD, at 64 years of age.

He died without a will and his estate was administered by Charles Bishop. He paid tax on 100 acres of "Simpleton" in 1774 and Charles Bishop is shown with 100 acres of "Simpleton" in 1783. (Debt Books-research of Vern Skinner)

116 i. Joseph⁵ Bishop (Jr.) was born about 1740. Joseph died 1773 at 33 years of age. He married Elizabeth (Ennis)(widow of Richard Conner). Elizabeth was born about 1740. Elizabeth died 1806 at 66 years of age. (research of Dr. William R. Bishop)

117 ii. Benjamin Bishop was born about 1744. Benjamin died 1788 at 44 years of age. (research of Dr. William R. Bishop)

+ 118 iii. Charles Bishop was born before 1755.
