172. Frances^M Carsley (Henry^N)⁽¹⁰⁰⁹⁾ was born in Virginia circa 1624. Frances died after 1678/9 in Somerset Co, MD.

She married Jeffrey Minshall Sr. 18 May 1650 in Northampton Co, VA.(1010) Jeffrey was born circa 1620 in England. Jeffrey died 8 Apr 1675 in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD, at 54 years of age.⁽¹⁰¹¹⁾ His body was interred in Morumsco Section, Som Co, MD.⁽¹⁰¹²⁾ Jeffrey was living October 1651 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽¹⁰¹³⁾ Jeffrey was named in a deed in 12 Apr 1666 in Somerset Co, MD.⁽¹⁰¹⁴⁾ (See Jeffrey Minshall Sr. for the children resulting from this marriage.)

Frances was living after 1665/6 in Morumsco, Som Co, MD. Frances Carsley was called a minor in her grandmother Alice (-----) (Berriman) Wilson's will of 1640. Her marriage contract to Jeffrey Menshall, dated 18 May 1650, was drawn by her uncle Thomas Johnson, apparently her guardian (N'hamp Co Deeds, Wills, etc, 1651-1654, f. 48). A judgment was acknowledged, 28 Oct 1651, by Jeffrey Minshall to Thomas Johnson, Gent., "on the behalfe of Frances Carsley, orphant, nowe the wife of sd Jeffrey Minshall."
