39. JONATHAN5 BUNTING (TAMAR4 MARSHALL, GEORGE3, THOMAS2, JOHN1) (#21) was born in Northampton Co VA before 1724. JONATHAN died 1791 in Accomack Co. VA, at 67 years of age. (Stratton Nottington, Wills & Admin. Acc. Co., p. 391) He married ELIZABETH "BETTY" (wife of Jonathan Bunting) 1747. (ELIZABETH "BETTY" (wife of Jonathan Bunting) is #37.) ELIZABETH died 1809 Accomack Co., VA. She made a will in Accomack Co. VA, February 12, 1808. (Accomack Wills 1809-1812 Reel 62, p. 53 VA State Archives) ELIZABETH's will was probated Accomack Co., VA, June 20, 1809. Elizabeth was the widow of John Jenkinson. In her will, she left her son George Senior the plantation whereon she lived containing by estimate 251 acres. She named son Severn and left a desk & oval table. To son Jonathan she left a bed and furniture and to daughter Phamy Downing, she left one chest and wearing apparel. She signed her mark "X". Witnesses were Betsy Downing, Teackle Shay and Arthur Stratton. He made a will Accomack Co., VA, March 12, 1791. JONATHAN's will was probated Accomack Co., VA, September 27, 1791. Witnesses to his will: Arthur Watson, John Sickels, Isaac Smith. Executors: son, Severn; wife, Betty JONATHAN BUNTING and ELIZABETH "BETTY" (wife of Jonathan Bunting) had the following children:
