107. GEORGE⁶ BUNTING (SR.) (JONATHAN⁵, TAMAR⁴ MARSHALL, GEORGE³, THOMAS², JOHN¹) (#40) was born about 1750. GEORGE died 1811 in Accomack Co. VA, at 61 years of age.

He married ELIZABETH JOHNSON 1770. (ELIZABETH JOHNSON is #11232.)

He made a will in Accomack Co. VA, March 11, 1808. (Accomack Wills 1809-1812 Reel 62, p. 366 VA State Archives)

GEORGE's will was probated in Accomack Co. VA, June 21, 1811. George named his sons: George, Elijah and William and deceased son, John; along with daughters Tabitha, Peggy and Nancy. He also named his grandson George Marshall and daughter Betsy Marshall. He called Ismy Bunting his brother. He noted that his mother was still living on the date of his will.

GEORGE BUNTING (Sr.) and ELIZABETH JOHNSON had the following children:

243 i. TABITHA⁷ BUNTING (#11234). She married UNKNOWN MERRILL after September 4, 1798. (UNKNOWN MERRILL is #15296.) Tabitha was probably the Tabitha Bunting, witness to the will of her brother, John, in 1798.

244 ii. PEGGY BUNTING (#11235). She married TEACKLE SHAY. (TEACKLE SHAY is #15297.)

245 iii. NANCY BUNTING (#11236). She married (JAMES) MCCREADY. ((JAMES) MCCREADY is #15298.)

246 iv. MARY WALLOW BUNTING (#11238).

249 vii. WILLIAM BUNTING (#11241). WILLIAM died 1818 in Accomack Co. VA. William served in the Revolutionary War and received a pension for his service. William was named in his father's will of 1808.

+ 251 ix. ELIZABETH BUNTING was born about 1788.
