He married twice. He married SALLIE ANN MAPP in Northampton Co VA, June 20, 1861. (SALLIE ANN MAPP is #2876.) SALLIE was born in Northampton Co VA August 9, 1844. SALLIE was the daughter of JOHN ROBINS MAPP and MARGARET CUSTIS LEATHERBURY. SALLIE died April 12, 1877 at 32 years of age. He married SALLY GOODWIN. (SALLY GOODWIN is #2879.) SALLY was born 1854. SARAH was born March 21, 1863. SARAH was the daughter of JOHN CALVIN DALBY and MARY ANN SAUNDERS. SARAH died January 27, 1912 at 48 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)

971 ii. SALLIE M. JACOB (#2884) was born October 6, 1862. SALLIE died 1921 at 58 years of age. She married ARTHUR EMERSON DENNIS. (ARTHUR EMERSON DENNIS is #2885.) ARTHUR was born May 11, 1864. Arthur's mother may have been Alexina. (ref: Bill Wilkins) ARTHUR was the son of HENRY EMERSON DENNIS and CATHERINE SARAH ROBERTS.

ARTHUR died February 23, 1908 at 43 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)
