20. WILLIAM⁴ CHANDLER (ANN³ THOROWGOOD, ADAM², WILLIAM¹) birth date unknown. WILLIAM died 1685.

He married MARY SEWALL about 1677. MARY was born 1658. MARY was the daughter of HENRY SEWALL and JANE LOWE. MARY died March 12, 1693 at 34 years of age. She married 2nd George Brent of "Woodstock" Stafford County on March 27, 1687. (Purse & Person, p. 612)

He made a will in Maryland, March 20, 1684. Probate May 18, 1685. William received 1,000 acres at Port Tobacco from his father. He named his wife and children in his will. (Purse & Person, p. 612)

WILLIAM CHANDLER and MARY SEWALL had the following children:

84 i. RICHARD⁵ CHANDLER. RICHARD died 1714 in Maryland. He made a will in Maryland, April 12, 1712.

85 ii. JANE CHANDLER. She married twice. She married GILES BRENT. GILES died 1693 Stafford Co., VA. He made a will Stafford Co., VA, January 27, 1693. Probate February 15, 1693. (Purse & Person, p. 612)

She married JOSHUA GREEN. JOSHUA died before November 25, 1699.

88 v. WILLIAM CHANDLER (Jr.) was born Port Tobacco, MD October 13, 1678. WILLIAM died 1730 at 51 years of age. He made a will in Maryland, August 19, 1725. (Purse & Person, p. 612)
