He married three times. He married ELIZABETH GOFFIGON in Northampton Co., VA, 1790. He married MARIAH HOPKINSON after 1790. MARIAH died before 1814. She was the daughter of Francis Hopkinson of Philadelphia, PA. (Bill Wilkins)

He married ANN STOCKLEY TEACKLE in Northampton Co., VA, April 4, 1814. ANN was born Accomack Co., VA March 17, 1788. ANN was the daughter of JOHN TEACKLE (Col.) and ANNE STOCKLEY UPSHUR. ANN died December 11, 1862 in Northampton Co., VA, at 74 years of age. Buried Christ Church, Eastville, VA.

ISAAC SMITH (III) and ANN STOCKLEY TEACKLE had the following children:
