She married PETER BOWDOIN in Northampton Co., VA, October 6, 1783. PETER was born in Northampton Co., VA 1761. PETER was the son of JOHN BOWDOIN and GRACE STRINGER. PETER died 1829 in Northampton Co., VA, at 68 years of age. He was under 21 in 1770.

PETER BOWDOIN and MARGARET SMITH had the following children:

940 i. JAMES BOUTINEAU⁹ BOWDOIN. He married ZIPPORAH SIMPSON February 26, 1812.

941 ii. LOUISA A. BOWDOIN. LOUISA died after 1824. She married three times. She married UNKNOWN THOMPSON. UNKNOWN died before 1828. She married EDWARD EVANS June 4, 1805. She married GEORGE TUCKER December 9, 1828. GEORGE was born 1775. GEORGE died 1861 at 86 years of age.

942 iii. JOHN BOWDOIN was born February 2, 1787.
