Bethel Baptist Church shows him as Samuel Killmon of J., born 19 Jan 1819. In his will he says he is Samuel of John. He is listed as
Samuel of John and Nancy his wife in the Thorogood O. Kilmon family Bible. The dates in the Bible and on the tombstone are different by 3
years. Elane Kilmon Strange reports the tombstone birth as 19 Jan 1816, but Mary Frances Carey's reading's show 19 Jan 1819. Samuel
died 10 Dec 1871 at 55 years of age.(53) The T.O. Kilmon
Bible shows his funeral was at Bethel Church on the 12th by Rev. Woodson. The text was Revelations, 14 Chapter and 13 verse. His body
was interred in Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.(54)
He married Nancy Riggs 22 Mar 1841 (bond) in Accomack Co, VA.(55) Joseph Riggs was the security on the M.L.B. of Samuel Killmon and Nancy Riggs. The T.O.
Kilmon Family Bible shows they were married on 28 Mar 1841 at Guildford in the presence of William Thornton, signed Dr. R. Williams.

before 1860. He was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.(80) Arsemus Killmon may have been a twin of Amanda Susan, since they were both
listed as 3 years old in the 1850 census. It is assumed that he died before 1860 as he was not listed with his parents in that year's
census.

was no Susan in the 1850 HH and no Amanda in the 1860 HH, it is assumed that these were the same person named Amanda Susan Killman.
