10. Samuel³ Killmon Jr. (John Henry⁴, John⁵)⁽⁵¹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 19 Jan 1816.⁽⁵²⁾ His tombstone at Bethel Baptist Church shows him as Samuel Killmon of J., born 19 Jan 1819. In his will he says he is Samuel of John. He is listed as Samuel of John and Nancy his wife in the Thorogood O. Kilmon family Bible. The dates in the Bible and on the tombstone are different by 3 years. Elane Kilmon Strange reports the tombstone birth as 19 Jan 1816, but Mary Frances Carey's reading's show 19 Jan 1819. Samuel died 10 Dec 1871 at 55 years of age.⁽⁵³⁾ The T.O. Kilmon Bible shows his funeral was at Bethel Church on the 12th by Rev. Woodson. The text was Revelations, 14 Chapter and 13 verse. His body was interred in Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁵⁴⁾

He married Nancy Riggs 22 Mar 1841 (bond) in Accomack Co, VA.(55) Joseph Riggs was the security on the M.L.B. of Samuel Killmon and Nancy Riggs. The T.O. Kilmon Family Bible shows they were married on 28 Mar 1841 at Guildford in the presence of William Thornton, signed Dr. R. Williams.

Samuel Killmon Jr. and Nancy Riggs had the following children:

Mary E.² Killmon⁽⁵⁸⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 30 Dec 1841.⁽⁵⁹⁾ Mary died 9 Apr 1922 at 80 years of age.⁽⁶⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶¹⁾ She married twice. She married John E. Poulson 31 Jan 1859 (lic) in Accomack Co, VA.(62) She was shown as the daughter of Erastus, but Samuel Kilman gave consent for his daughter Mary E. Killman. John C. Wessel said he was over age 21.

John was born 14 Mar 1833.⁽⁶³⁾ John⁽⁶⁴⁾ was the son of Erastus Poulson and Trephemia Dix. John died 14 May 1889 at 56 years of age.⁽⁶⁵⁾ His body was interred in Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁶⁶⁾ She married James Mason 17 Apr 1895 in Accomack Co, VA.(67) They were married by Daniel G.C. Butts, a Methodist minister. James was age 65 and a widowed farmer and Mary E. Poulson was age 50 and widowed.

James was born circa 1822 in Accomack Co, VA.⁽⁶⁸⁾ James⁽⁶⁹⁾ was the son of Major Mason Sr. and Rachel (-----).

She was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁷⁰⁾

12 ii. Henry Thomas Killmon⁽⁷¹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 20 Sep 1845.⁽⁷²⁾ Henry died 22 Aug 1929 in Bloxom, Acc Co, VA, at 83 years of age.⁽⁷³⁾ His body was interred in Parksley Cem, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁷⁴⁾ He married Georgianna Gladding 23 Feb 1871 in Muddy Creek, Acc Co, VA.(75)

He was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁷⁶⁾ He was listed as a resident in the census report 1860 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁷⁷⁾

13 iii. Arsemus Killmon⁽⁷⁸⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 6 May 1848.⁽⁷⁹⁾ Arsemus died before 1860. He was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁰⁾ Arsemus Killmon may have been a twin of Amanda Susan, since they were both listed as 3 years old in the 1850 census. It is assumed that he died before 1860 as he was not listed with his parents in that year's census.

14 iv. Amanda Susan Killmon⁽⁸¹⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 6 May 1848.⁽⁸²⁾ Amanda died 14 Dec 1930 at 82 years of age.⁽⁸³⁾ Her body was interred in Bethel Bapt Ch Cem, Mears, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁴⁾ She married Martin M. Bloxom 28 Mar 1867 in Accomack Co, VA.(85)

She was listed as a resident in the census report 1850 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁶⁾ She was listed as a resident in the census report 1860 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁸⁷⁾ She is listed in the 1850 Acc Parish HH#947 of Samuel and Nancy Killman as Amanda, age 3, and in the 1860 Acc Parish HH#1323 of Samuel and Nancy Killman as Susan, age 11. Since there was no Susan in the 1850 HH and no Amanda in the 1860 HH, it is assumed that these were the same person named Amanda Susan Killman.

15 v. Dulany A. Killmon⁽⁸⁸⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 24 Jul 1851.⁽⁸⁹⁾ The T.O. Kilmon Bible shows her name at birth was "Delaney" A. Kilmon and she had a twin sister Delily E. Kilmon. Dulany died 5 Dec 1928 at 77 years of age.⁽⁹⁰⁾ Her body was interred in Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁹¹⁾ She married Edward Thomas Ross 19 Jan 1870 in Accomack Co, VA.(92)

She was listed as a resident in the census report 1860 in Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁽⁹³⁾

16 vi. Delily E. Killmon⁽⁹⁴⁾ was born in Accomack Co, VA 24 Jul 1851.⁽⁹⁵⁾
