339. ARTHUR WAINHOUSE⁶ DOWNING (DR.) (EDMUND W. P.⁵, ELIZABETH⁴ WAINHOUSE, FRANCIS³, FRANCIS², PATIENCE¹ "V") (#1806) was born in Northampton Co., VA October 17, 1815. ARTHUR died November 21, 1901 in Northampton Co., VA, at 86 years of age. His body was interred Old Downing Cemetery, Northampton Co., VA.

He married twice. He married MARY PARRAMORE BAYLY Accomack Co., VA, November 8, 1837. (MARY PARRAMORE BAYLY is #1807.) MARY was born "Cedar Grove, " Northampton Co., VA November 16, 1818. MARY was the daughter of JAMES UPSHUR BAYLY and ESTHER BURTON PARRAMORE. MARY died December 20, 1863 in Northampton Co., VA, at 45 years of age. Her body was interred Old Downing Cemetery, Northampton Co., VA. He married MARY G. HOOPES after 1863. (MARY G. HOOPES is #15191.) MARY was born in PA February 9, 1832. MARY died September 1, 1911 in Northampton Co., VA, at 79 years of age.

512 i. MARGARET H.⁷ DOWNING (#1805) was born March 14, 1850. MARGARET died June 14, 1900 at 50 years of age. She married FREDERICK WADDEY in Northampton Co VA, April 13, 1869. (FREDERICK WADDEY is #1804.) FREDERICK was born about 1842. FREDERICK was the son of EDWARD R. WADDEY and HARRIET NOTTINGHAM.
