He married three times. He married (d|o Desiderius) circa 760.(1342) D|o Desiderius was born circa 740. D|o Desiderius(1343) was the daughter of Desiderius. He married Hildegarde Princess of Swabia circa 771.(1344) Hildegarde was born 758.(1345) Hildegarde(1346) was the daughter of Gerold I Duke of Swabia Count of Vinzgua. Hildegarde died 30 Apr 783 at 24 years of age.(1347) He married Fastrade circa 790.(1348) Fastrade was born circa 740. He was crowned Emperor at Rome on Christmas Day, 800, by Pope Leo III.
